There's so much to do with a little one around here without spending a dime — and with dry, pleasant weather this week, it's a great time to get out and explore. Whether you're looking for something indoors or out, there's plenty waiting for you nearby.
This week
This week is packed with great free options for toddlers across the area. Kick off Tuesday with Peek-A-Book Storytime at Ygnacio Valley Library or the Children's Jazz Program at Walnut Creek Library — both are wonderful for little ears. On Wednesday, I Heart Toddler Art at Pleasant Hill Library is a favorite for hands-on fun, and Wonderful Wednesdays: Insect Discovery Lab at Clayton Library is a surprisingly cool pick for curious kids. Don't miss Toddler Storytime & Play at Walnut Creek Library on Thursday, and if you want to get outside, the Diablo Valley Farmers' Market at Shadelands and the Danville Farmers' Market are both happening Saturday.
Next week
Next week brings even more to look forward to — Pre-School Storytime at Orinda Library is back on Tuesday, and Toddler Yoga at Orinda Library on Wednesday sounds like the most adorable thing ever. I Heart Toddler Art returns at Pleasant Hill Library on Wednesday too, and the Dinosaur Disco Dance Party on Friday at Pleasant Hill Library is not one to miss. Rounding out the week, the Walnut Creek Downtown Farmers Market is a lovely Sunday outing, and little swimmers can splash at Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park on Labor Day Monday.
