When the weather keeps you inside, the Mount Diablo area has plenty of cozy options to keep little ones busy and happy. Libraries, community centers, and local programs make it easy to fill the day without leaving the county.

This week is packed with great indoor options for little ones across the area. On Tuesday, Aug 25, the ★ Pre-School Storytime ★ at Orinda Library and Peek-A-Book Storytime at Ygnacio Valley Library are sweet picks for the youngest readers, while Kiddo Crafternoons at Concord Library and In Harmony Music at Pleasant Hill Library add some creative and musical fun. Mid-week, I Heart Toddler Art at Pleasant Hill Library on Wednesday is a favorite for messy, joyful creating, and the Wonderful Wednesdays: Insect Discovery Lab at Clayton Library is a surprisingly cool science pick for curious toddlers. Come Thursday, Toddler Storytime & Play at Walnut Creek Library and Lego Builders Club at Pleasant Hill Library on Saturday round out a full week of indoor adventures.
