Price: $300 members/$350 non-member Unleash your inner scientist and discover the incredible world of animal engineering and art! At this STEAM-based camp, we’ll conduct thrilling group engineering challenges, meet animal ambassadors, and discover the secrets behind animal adaptations to their environment. From engineering nests to survive an egg drop challenge and constructing watertight dams like beavers. We’ll also dive into hands-on art projects like gyotaku fish printing and making paper like wasps do. This fun half-day camp (3.5 hours each day) is designed for children ages 7-11. This camp is a hybrid of indoor and outdoor activities at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek. Each week-long session runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Session 1: June 8th – June 12th – SOLD OUT Session 2: July 13th – July 17th – SOLD OUT Session 3: August 3rd – August 7th Price: $300 members/$350 non-member. Closed-toed shoes are required; hats and sunscreen are highly encouraged. Applications for the 2026 summer camp scholarship have now closed.
